Railways book guides

Railway recruitment covers several different exams. RRB NTPC is for graduate and undergraduate non-technical posts. RRB Group D (Level 1) has a Class-10 level syllabus that includes general science. Other technical posts have their own subject requirements. A book labelled "Railways" doesn't automatically match your post or stage, so start with the current official notice and compare it against the book's contents. Most railway exams test mathematics, reasoning, general awareness and, for Group D, general science. The science portion overlaps heavily with NCERT Class 9 and 10 textbooks, which are free. For many aspirants, the most useful purchase is a well-organised previous-year paper collection in the language they'll write in, not a large all-in-one guide. This hub links our separate RRB NTPC and RRB Group D booklists, along with reviews of general titles such as Lucent GK and R.S. Aggarwal. Each guide explains what to buy, what to reuse and what to skip.
